Nathan turns 31! AKA Thanksgiving in February

So originally I had planned to have a cook out for Nathan's birthday in Morehead. Well the weather forecast for that weekend expected several inches of snow so that is not helpful to having a BBQ! I tried to think of something fun to do instead. Well Nathan's favorite holiday hands down is Thanksgiving. He loves all the yummy things to eat and then loves the leftovers even more. So with Moo Moo's help we had Thanksgiving in Feburary! We invited over some friends and here is Matt cutting the turkey. Moo even made Nathan a yummy cake while I was turkey baking! It was a fun thing that did not fall into the normal birthday party theme. Plus we had leftovers for a week!

Lucy meets Linus!

So my mom saved us a fish from the wedding that despite Nathan's opinion, it is still alive! He did not think it would survive the trip, but this fish is a trooper!

On the Boat!

So Nathan and I got to meet Guy Harvey in Grand Cayman, breakfast on the boat was like Shoney's everyday so by Friday we were sick of it, we loved Cozumel and want to go back to Mexico for sure, most days we had "Specials" before noon! Not a bad vacation!

Really behind on the blog!

So most of you have seen the wedding pics on facebook so I will start off here from where those leave off! Here is us right after we got back to our hotel room after saying goodnight to everyone at the wedding! The bridesmaids decorated the room all cute like....

Then we got up the next morning and Jr. and Mandy took us to the Port of Miami, first we stopped and had a really yummy brunch with them...we were so hungry too! It was great. Here are the first few boat pictures!

Our Engagement Pics

So we got in the mail over the weekend our engagement pictures. Story Photography of Lexington took the shots and they did a great job! Daniel and Stacy Arroyo were great and below is their work! I have ordered some prints for Christmas and also made a book at Snapfish to put out at the wedding near our guest book....look how cute Lucy is too!

Halloween House from the Today's show

So here in Lexington was one of the three top houses for Halloween decorations. It was actually really close to the house so some co-workers and I hunted it down. Nathan and I tried to find it the night before but without any luck so Matt who works with me lives right near it and knew where it was so a few work folks went out to check out what all the fuss was about. I do have to admit it was hysterical and ridiculous. You will see for yourself!

Also the morning before Halloween I woke up to our first frost! Already! Here are pics from our backyard.....
